M.V. Kotakaya makes maiden call at JCT

M.V. Kotakaya made her maiden call at the Colombo Port on September 6. She serves as a weekly caller in the Red Sea Service bearing a capacity of 3081 TEUs, and currently is the biggest vessel in the PIL fleet. The ship is owned by Pacific International Lines Pvt. Limited and sails under Singapore flag. The 232.5 m vessel has a speed of 22 knots. Here, SLPA Chairman Dileepa Wijesundara exchanges plaques with the Ship’s Captain C.C. Kachvimath and M.V. Kotakaya at the Colombo Port. Harbour Master Capt. Nihal Keppetipola was present.
