 SLPA signs agreement with Lanka IOC

Suresh Kumar, SLPA Chairman Dr. Priyath Bandu Wickrama Muneege, Jaya Container Terminal Limited (JCTL) Managing Director W.G. Samaratunga, JCTL Manager (OPS) O.A. Piyaratne, JCTL Manager (HR) M.A.M. Marasinghe and JCTL Company Secretary Loreen De Silva at the signing of the agreement. 

 

Lanka IOC PLC (LIOC) signed an agreement with the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) for utilizing the fuel storage facility at the Colombo Oil Tank Terminal in September 2009. The agreement for one year was signed recently by Sri Lanka Ports Authority Chairman Dr. Priyath Bandu Wickrama Muneege and Lanka IOC PLC Managing Director K.R. Suresh Kumar.

This agreement permits Lanka IOC PLC to use the bonded facility for storing bunker fuels viz, MGO, IFO, 180cst and IFO 380cst and sell it to customers from the bonded warehouse using barges/bowsers.
